Akili has developed a new class of digital medicines, for people living with cognitive impairment, specifically related to executive function (focus, inhibition control, impulsivity, working memory, planning and organizing). That medicine is delivered through gaming. Mighty Play supported Akili’s effort with two large scale research initiatives. Conducting in person, and online interviews, with children and their parents, Mighty Play helped Akili finalize their strategic product plan. Our strong research, product development, and kids gaming expertise helped Akili get the answers they needed fast.open project

Fitbit is the leader in health and fitness devices. Fitbit engaged Mighty Play to ideate new concepts, for a new younger audience. Mighty Play developed concepts that reflected new use cases for families and their children. Our design team created concepts, storyboards and concept art. We then conducted research on the overall concept of a Fitbit for young adults and children. Then, Mighty Play conducted the research. We created screeners, recruited participants across various demographics, wrote moderator guides and questionaries, conducted focus groups, consolidated data and delivered final reports. Working closely with the Fitbit team, Mighty Play’s management came up with a strategy for Fitbit’s roadmap.open project
