CogniMoves – Primes Student’s Brains for Learning

CogniMoves has developed a proprietary method of supporting students to develop their executive function skills. Through their scientifically-based methodology, children dance and move to the musical beat of a variety of engaging videos. The more videos students engage with, the more they build their executive function capabilities and capacities. As a Strategic Advising and Production partner to CogniMoves, Mighty Play conducted qualitative research to direct product upgrades and improve the classroom experience. Mighty Play also supported business growth through roadmap planning, patent writing, P&L design, long term expansion plans and the documentation of the proprietary technology and research. Mighty Play designed and developed CogniMoves new website.

Akili – Digital Medicine Through Gaming – Building Executive Function Capabilities

Akili has developed a new class of digital medicines, for people living with cognitive impairment, specifically related to executive function (focus, inhibition control, impulsivity, working memory, planning and organizing). That medicine is delivered through gaming. Mighty Play supported Akili’s effort with two large scale research initiatives. Conducting in person, and online interviews, with children and their parents, Mighty Play helped Akili finalize their strategic product plan. Our strong research, product development, and kids gaming expertise helped Akili get the answers they needed fast.

Atentivmynd – Executive Function Training with gaming

ATENTIVmynd™ allows children with ADHD to use their mind to control gameplay. The game uses the fastest and most effective method for learning cognitive skills and teaches attention and improves focus. Mighty Play engineered the first prototype and then went on to develop the initial story. We also designed and developed the environments and game play for the initial ATENTIVmynd™ game. Working with Atentiv’s top cognitive scientists, the Mighty Play team collaboratively designed a game to help children of all ages. http://atentiv.com/
