Mighty Play’s work included: concept development, paper based screener translation into 11 web and app based games that assessed children’s capabilities. Additionally, we designed a teacher platform with reports, micro and macro data and resources. Mighty Play utilized all areas of our expertise including research, learning design, game design, art, animation, UI/UX, editorial, engineering and QA. The Teaching Strategies team approached Mighty Play with an idea for a digital literacy screener based on a paper based dyslexia screener that was in the market. Through a deep collaboration with Teaching Strategies, Mighty Play translated the paper tasks into engaging, effective game based screeners. We designed a teacher portal with reports, suggestions for next steps and support materials.
